Biography

Lurese A. Terrell is a senior attorney at Kennedy, Attorneys and Counselors at Law, a health law boutique, in Dallas, Texas. The Kennedy Law Firm is focused on health law and regulatory compliance.

Lurese brings extensive administrative and regulatory law experience to Kennedy. After receiving her bar card, Lurese joined the firm of Durkin & Associates in Hurst, Texas. At Durkin, Lurese practiced employment law, workers' compensation law, and general civil litigation. In 2005, she joined the Silvera Firm in Dallas, Texas, where she continued her practice in workers' compensation law and civil litigation.

Lurese received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma. Boomer Sooner. She attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas and received a Juris Doctor. She is a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity International.

Lurese is licensed to practice before the Texas State Courts, as well as in all the Federal District Courts in Texas. She is admitted to the 5th and 10th Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity International, and through Kennedy, the Texas Association for Home Care and the Medical Equipment Suppliers Association.
